The James Paton Memorial Hospital,is located on the Trans Canada Highway in the town of Gander and overlooks Gander Lake and a 18 hole golf course. It was opened in May, 1964 and since that time many significant changes in health care have occurred, making this hospital a very busy acute care institution.
